BioBalance refers to the process of returning the biological organisms within an environment to levels that occur naturally. Haven™ by BioBalance has been specially formulated to Bio-Balance indoor mold levels that are elevated due to water leaks, or high humidity.

People and pets should not remain in the treatment area for extended periods during fogging. It is best to leave the fog undisturbed for 24 hours after fogging is finished. Re-entry after 12 hours is acceptable. Ventilate the treated areas when people or pets return.

To treat mold in an HVAC system, apply HavenFog near the return air intake while the system is running so the fog is distributed through the ductwork. Park your car in a location where it can sit undisturbed for 24 hours (a garage is often the best option). Start your car and turn on either the heat or the air conditioning on high with it set to recirculate. Plug your fog machine into an extension cord outside of the vehicle. Place your fog machine in the vehicle (on the floor, or on a seat) and turn it on. Be careful not to cut the extension cord by slamming the car door. Fog the vehicle until a film develops on the glass. This often requires ~15 minutes with a small fog machine and 5-7 minutes for a large fog machine. Unplug the extension cord to kill power to the fog machine. Quickly open the car door, turn off the engine and remove the fog machine. Do not worry about the fog that escapes, it is inconsequential. Keep the car closed up for at least 24 hours.

After each use of the hot fogging machine, remove the tube from the machine and put into a cup of 80% distilled water and 20% white vinegar and run the entire cup through the machine.
