Isolated Mold Treatment
HavenFog is intended as a one-time treatment. Additional treatment may be needed if a significant mold problem has not yet been remediated or after another water event. Use HavenMist for continued maintenance.
Add water to 16 oz. of HavenMist solution to make one gallon (128 oz.) of finished mixture. This 1:8 dilution means one part concentrate in eight parts finished mixture.
People and pets may remain in the area throughout HavenMist misting. After misting, we recommend small particle cleanup by wiping or HEPA vacuuming. Cleanup may begin immediately after misting or at any later time.
When mold is confined to a few rooms or areas, misting will reduce mold and keep it under control. Each HavenMist Kit includes HavenMist, a HavenMister, and plates for testing before and after your treatment.
This treatment protocol was developed by Jeff Bookout (CMI, CMRC, AHERA Inspector — 20+ years, 4,000+ mold assessments, President of BioBalance and AirWell) and JW Biava (CMI, CMRC, ISEAI Board Member — 100,000+ inspections, CEO of BioBalance and CitriSafe). Isolated Mold Treatment Steps
Choose one of the following kits:
HavenMist™ Kit
The standard HavenMister holds 34 oz (1000 mL) of diluted HavenMist which allows you to treat a small room in about 2 minutes with a reach of 6 feet.
HavenMist™ Large Kit
The Large HavenMister holds 136 oz (4000 mL) of diluted HavenMist which allows you to treat a small room in about 1 minute with a reach of 10 feet.
1. Rip, Remove, Replace
Rip, remove, replace materials contaminated with visible mold. Use proper conditions (i.e. negative air containment, proper personal protective equipment or PPE, etc.) for your own safety and health. Call our experts at (505) 400-8891 for any guidance needed.

2. Test
Sample the area with a mold test. Collect air samples of the areas you will fog. After fogging you will test again and compare the results.

3. Prep
Prep the area you are treating. Open all cabinets, drawers, closets, etc. for a thorough treatment of the area.
Our mist solution is water-based. Mist lightly and move any sensitive electronics, papers, artwork, and books.
4. Mist
Mist your environment. Add HavenMist to your mister and thoroughly treat the entire area from ceiling to floor.
Optional
Shampoo with HavenClean all carpets, rugs, and fabric furniture before misting.
5. Re-Test
Test for mold after 3 days. After treatment, wait at least 3 days and retest the areas with the included mold plates. Compare the new sample to the previous sample and to the ImmunoLytics health scale* to confirm the treatment was successful. You can use the included plates for self-testing. Optional laboratory analysis by ImmunoLytics is available for an additional fee and is not included in the kit price.

6. Maintain Your Environment

What is isolated mold treatment?
Isolated mold treatment addresses mold confined to one to three rooms or specific areas of the home — typically less than 10 square feet of visible growth. HavenMist is used to mist affected areas, reducing airborne mold spores and inhibiting regrowth.
How many rooms can HavenMist treat?
Every HavenMist kit includes one 16 oz. bottle of solution. Add water to make one gallon total, treating up to 3,000 sq. ft. with the Standard, Large, or Travel mister. Standard is 360 watts and corded; Large is 1,000 watts and corded; Travel is USB rechargeable.
Is HavenMist safe for pets and children?

How long does it take to see results after misting?

Do I need professional remediation for isolated mold?

What mold test plates are included with the HavenMist Kit?
